PAPER SAVING PRINTING -
What's this?
From day 2, this system allows you to put your existing printed music from previous days back into your printer, and will only print the newest material, spaced so as to not interfere.
So long as you load it the right way in your printer, this will reduce paper usage - but you may want to get familiar with your printer set up before trying this!
A new year, and a new JaNEWary Challenge for you. This year with music from two marvellous composers and arrangers, Lauren Scott and Tamsin Dearnley!
We start the month bright and breezy on the 1st Jan, with Lauren's beautiful arrangement of Joni Mitchell's Both Sides Now. 7 days of learning, with a rest/catch-up day on day 8, and a LIVE ZOOM session on Monday 9th, where you can play alongside fellow participants around the globe have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. There are no daft questions - if you are wondering something, chances are someone else is too!
A very special treat then follows with a short ensemble piece all to do with owls - this will be a fun little challenge for all, but HNW members will have the opportunity in the future to perform the extended version of this live with a harp and saxophone duo! (More on this on Jan 10th!). A second LIVE ZOOM session on Sunday 15th Jan will complete this fun little piece.
We then see out our month from Jan 16th with a beautiful ragtime piece from Tamsin Dearnley called "The Moving House Rag"*, with rest days planned in, culminating with a final LIVE ZOOM on Monday 30th Jan.
* Please note, this is a grade 5 Trinity College piece, but you must have the authorised version if you are taking the exam.
