PAPER SAVING PRINTING -
What's this?
From day 2, this system allows you to put your existing printed music from previous days back into your printer, and will only print the newest material, spaced so as to not interfere.
So long as you load it the right way in your printer, this will reduce paper usage - but you may want to get familiar with your printer set up before trying this!
In a blink of the eye, the months have flown and here is your 2026 JUNEwary Challenge!
You can revisit our previous challenge months HERE>
This month, we shall be looking at a really fun and beautiful new piece from Charlotte Petersen, called The Swallows Return.
In a slight change to usual, we start this challenge on Monday 8th June, and then continue with video support through to Friday 19th June. A weekend to yourself to develop it further, and we shall have a live zoom at 8pm GMT on Monday 22nd June to complete our learning journey.
There will be some rest periods every few days or so, allowing for pulling together all you have worked on so far, and also allowing breathing room and indeed, room to "catch up" if you miss a day. That said, as ever, there is no compulsion to follow along live, the videos will stay up henceforth!
There is no music on screen this year, so do take the time to get familiar with your printer and make use of the paper-saving printing (where you reinput your existing page back into the printer to add the next section to the same page). This also allows you to keep any fingering or markings you have added, without having to rewrite.
(Videos and music links will go live at 6am GMT on the relevant day -
if it still says "private" after this time, refresh the page to activate)
