“Nine Nests”, the first half of the concert, is a 45 minute soundscape based around short poems by Tom Pow, celebrating the intimate symbolism of nests. Wendy Stewart’s harp weaves layered and interlocking melodies around the poetry to create a magical performance. In the second half of the concert Wendy plays a variety of her own harp arrangements and compositions.

Christmas Concert Party!
A super drop-in morning where folks got to try the harp in a completely informal setting! Some stayed for five minutes, some stayed for an hour, and some did a spot of birdwatching while they were there!
A fantastic opportunity, which really got our creative juices flowing, under the exciting tutelage of Ben, with his stunning blue harp!
Our Christmas Concert Party this year featured the World Premiere of our Composer in Residence piece, The Lay of the Land. The marvellous Karen Marshalsay won our hearts with this special piece!
